Isaac MYERS was born 1831 Whitechapel. Convicted 6 Jul 1847 at age 16 to 10 years transportation for "larceny from the person, a purse and three half crowns". Spent three years in Millbank Prison and the hulk "York" at Gosport before passage in 1851 on the Minden to Fremantle. Obtained ticket of leave before disembarkation and Conditional Pardon in 1855. Married Caroline Berry at York in 1863 and had up to ten children. Worked as a tailor in High St Fremantle employing other t.o.l. men. Died in 1906 and is buried at Karakatta cemetery.
